Website translation & localization

Website translation for your next market.

Translate the pages that matter to your next market. We combine language expertise with a clearly scoped publishing workflow, from editable copy to a small website localization pilot.

Scope a website localization pilot

Begin with a market and a useful set of pages

The homepage, product or service pages, enquiry flow and key customer information usually deserve attention before a large archive of posts. We help define the content boundary and the questions your new audience needs answered.

Translation preserves meaning. Localization also considers local vocabulary, examples, calls to action and the information people need to decide. Target-market keyword research is a separate, agreed component of the brief.

Content handover or implementation pilot

You may already have a developer who needs reviewed language files. Alternatively, we can scope a small pilot that includes content entry and checks on a supported website setup. We confirm the CMS, access, technical owner and acceptance criteria first.

Integrations, plugin maintenance, complex application engineering and ongoing SEO are not automatically included in translation. The proposal sets out the boundary between language delivery and technical work.

  • Visible page copy, navigation and form language
  • Page titles, descriptions and image text where relevant
  • Terminology and audience-appropriate calls to action
  • Staging review and linguistic corrections if included
  • A plan for future source and translation updates

Make the translated pages discoverable

A multilingual website needs useful content at accessible URLs, language navigation and metadata that describes each page. When implementation is included, we agree who handles URL mapping, language alternates, internal links and the sitemap.

Search performance also depends on competition, site quality and authority. Translating a site does not by itself establish demand or guarantee rankings. Start with one language and measure the response to the pages you publish.

A pilot with a clear finish line

Send your website, target market and the pages you want to launch. A small pilot can test the terminology, review process and handover before a broader rollout. Agree who approves language, who publishes and who maintains the pages afterwards.

Before you brief us

A few useful answers.

Will you upload the translation to our website?

We can discuss a scoped implementation pilot. Share your CMS, access model and staging process so we can confirm what is supported. Content-only delivery is also available.

Is multilingual SEO included?

Only the SEO tasks stated in the proposal are included. A target-market keyword brief, translated metadata, technical implementation and ongoing SEO are distinct pieces of work.

What happens to our existing URLs?

We map the existing pages before making changes. Useful URLs should be preserved where possible, and any agreed moves need direct redirects to the closest relevant destination.

Let’s make the next step clear

Good language work starts with your brief.

Tell us the content, languages and deadline. We’ll help you define the right scope and handover.
